Bio
Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and a lifelong resident of Paterson, New Jersey, Michael Guillen has become a vital member of the Athletics Department through his versatility, leadership, and unwavering commitment. Over the past three years, he has contributed in nearly every capacity within the department, gaining comprehensive experience in athletics operations and student engagement.
Michael’s dedication has earned him the Special Recognition Award, presented to individuals who demonstrate consistent support and outstanding commitment to the Athletics Program. His ability to adapt to a variety of roles, combined with a strong work ethic, has made him a trusted and reliable presence among staff and student-athletes alike.
Currently pursuing a degree in Exercise Science, Michael plans to continue his education by earning a dual Master’s in Athletic Training and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. His long-term goal is to positively impact the health, performance, and quality of life of others through hands-on care and rehabilitation.
