Bio

Naria Araya joined the Passaic County Community College Men’s Volleyball program as an Assistant Coach in January 2025.

Araya brings extensive coaching experience from across the North Jersey volleyball community. She spent five seasons as the Assistant Coach for the girls volleyball program at DePaul Catholic High School (Wayne, N.J.) and began her club coaching career in 2019, working with athletes at multiple levels throughout the region.

In 2025, Araya was named Head Coach of the Hawthorne High School girls volleyball team, marking her first season leading the program. She remains active in the local volleyball community through club coaching, open gym participation, and community recreation initiatives. She also volunteers at the Haledon Recreation Center, supporting youth volleyball and basketball programs.

At PCCC, Araya assists with all aspects of the program, including player development, recruiting, practice planning, scouting, and match preparation.

A Hawthorne High School graduate, Araya earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Math and Science with a minor in Computer Information Systems from William Paterson University.
