Bio
Savannah van den Berg was named Head Coach of the Women’s Volleyball program at PCCC in 2025, leading the team’s return to competition.
A graduate of Toms River North High School, van den Berg competed in both high school and club volleyball throughout her four years. She continued her playing career at Montclair State University, where she was a four-year member of the women’s club volleyball team and served as team captain for three seasons.
Following her collegiate career, van den Berg has remained active as a player, competing in both indoor and outdoor volleyball. She has participated in USA Volleyball (USAV) indoor national tournaments and competes in AVP beach and grass doubles events.
In addition to her role at PCCC, van den Berg coaches at Sideout Sports Volleyball Club, where she focuses on developing young athletes and preparing them for success at the high school and collegiate levels. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes skill development, competitive excellence, and fostering a strong work ethic.
